Lane’s Carpet Installation LLC has been a family owned company since 1974 when founder Bill Lane settled on the island of Maui. His adventurous spirit called him away from his home in Florida at the age of 17 and he traveled across the continental U.S. working odd flooring jobs to make money. He ended up in beautiful Maui where he settled down and began building Lane’s Carpet from a one-man operation to the flourishing inter-island flooring company it is today.

Following the family’s tradition of hard work at an early age, his son David began assisting Bill when he was just 12 years old. Although his father constantly challenged David with every position from Laborer to Foreman his dedication to perfecting his craft earned him the right to work independently by the time he was 19. Over the next 25 years, David and his father continued to work in tandem, their reputation for quality and integrity would be the foundation for furthering their vision of family-based relations between Lane’s Carpet and their customers.

In 2016, David made the final transition to owner and continues to carry on the family legacy of excellent quality from the very first call to the “final walk-through. Every staff member is fully equipped to answer all questions so there’s no waiting while listening for your option or being passed from department to department. All questions, comments and concerns are addressed immediately by either a manager or the owner himself. At Lane’s Carpet Installation LLC, our customers are treated like family.
